The community outreach ministry has long been a ministry of churches, with the premise that a church is most effective if it functions as a lighthouse to the community and a place that welcomes everyone, regardless of racial and cultural differences.
Many churches also use community outreach programs to meet the material needs of people in the community during times of crisis. They may provide shelter for people who have been forced to leave their homes, or for some, they may provide food and clothing. At Mt.Rubidoux SDA, the community outreach ministry is service in action with the motivation to show God's love to others.
If you or someone you know needs clothing, food, shelter and/or other services our community outreach ministry may can help, please fill out the form below. If you are sick and shut-in and need prayer or a visit, please see our prayer ministry and visitation ministry.
